    This upper is very well made. The fit and finish into my lower was perfect. I’ve been to the range twice with it and put 200 rounds through the upper. Not one problem. Recoil is almost nonexistent. It felt like shooting a 22. Accuracy is very good. I can easily put rounds into a 3 inch circle at 50 yards with iron sights. It does heat up pretty fast but it also cools down very fast. I received the upper in 4 days after I ordered. Very easy and a great deal from Western sport. Overall very pleased about my purchase.

    I’ve only taken this upper out once, but I took it to shoot with several friends, some who are in the 3rd Ranger Bat. and other Army guys. They all were wildly impressed with the low recoil. The mid-length system + the piston + the compensator make a huge difference. It is softer than my POF that has all of those features. It was easy to rapid fire, keeping the red dot on target. The only down side is the location of the gas block is right where you want to grip your thumb, so you have to figure out a different grip configuration.
