We carry AR-15s, AR-10s, precision bolt guns, and AK-pattern rifles from manufacturers worth buying. Rifle selection depends on the application — what you are hunting, how far you are shooting, whether you need suppressor capability, and what your budget looks like.

For most buyers: an AR-15 in 5.56 covers home defense and recreational range use. An AR-10 or bolt gun in .308 Win or 6.5 Creedmoor covers longer-range work and hunting. A precision chassis rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor is what we see most competitive long-range shooters gravitate toward.

Rifle caliber guide

5.56 NATO / .223 Remington is the AR-15 standard — light recoil, cheap training ammo, and capable to 500 yards in the right configuration. 6.5 Creedmoor is the precision option that has displaced .308 Win in a lot of long-range applications — higher BC bullets mean more wind resistance and better performance past 800 yards. .308 Win remains the most versatile centerfire rifle cartridge for hunting and precision work.

For hog hunting or close-range work in dense brush, .300 Blackout in a suppressed SBR is hard to beat — but that requires NFA paperwork. .458 SOCOM and .50 Beowulf are the other large-bore AR options. All three run in a standard AR-15 lower with a caliber-specific upper.
