The MK18 URG was exactly what I would expect from Daniel Defense. I did find it odd that it was not in a DD box. Every other one I’ve seen comes straight from DD in it’s own packaging. This was in a plastic bag, diagonally placed in a square box packed with craft paper. It had a couple of little dings. But, since I intend to shoot it, and not look at it, that’s no big deal. Just being tossed in a regular box was a surprise though.

I just got home from my first range trip running this upper. Threw an Aimpoint T-1 on top and a pistol build on the bottom. Ran about 150 rounds without a single issue and accurate as can be. I’m certainly satisfied with the product but disappointed in the fact that it arrived a little beat up due to the fact that it was shipped wrapped in brown paper instead of the manufacturer’s packaging.

Ordered and got it in 4 days, upper quality is excellent. Running a Wolff extra power spring with Spikes ST-T2 buffer and runs flawlessly. Ammo shot was green tip, xm193 and freedom munition reloads .223. Great buy! Thanks WesternSport.

This upper came in original Daniel Defense box with everything it is soposed to have. Ignore the negative reviews. This is the best MK18 on the market at the best possible price! Buy it now. I’m a GA native and love supporting USA business especially ones located in my home state of Georgia.

Colby and Blake went above and beyond to accommodate the mistake and sent me a return postage and sent the FDE upper out in the same day to accommodate me leaving the country for the holidays. As for the actually mk18 upper in black. It came in the DD box and as we all know DD is exceptional. Can’t wait for the FDE version to finish my mk18 clone pistol!

I’ve got to say, I’m super impressed with Western Sport! I was looking for months on getting my hands on the DD MK18 pistol, but unfortunately I couldn’t find a single retailer that had it in stock complete (or if I did I would have been dropping over 2.5k). So I decided at that point ill buy the DD upper and put whatever high quality lower I want on it. NOPE… Now I can’t even find the upper! Then, weeks later, Western Sport is popping up saying they have a bunch of the uppers in stock while “no other place does” – I’d say I was skeptical.. So without checking WS credentials, logically, I sent it! I was fiending at this point.. And what do you know? I had it in my hands within 4-5 days, packaged to perfection!!
