Product Description

Update, October 9, 2026: ATF no longer requires a Form 4, tax stamp, fingerprints or registration for suppressors, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns or AOWs. They now transfer on a standard Form 4473 with a background check. Anything below that mentions a Form 4, a wait or a tax stamp was written before this change. What changed

The Dead Air CT5P 5.56 suppressor is a precision-engineered sound reduction system designed for 5.56 NATO and 6mm ARC calibers. This compact patrol suppressor delivers consistent hearing protection without sacrificing accuracy or reliability. Built for hunters, shooters, and professionals who demand proven performance.

Additionally, the CT5P features Haynes 282 construction for superior durability and heat resistance. The durable Cerakote black finish protects against corrosion in field conditions. Weighing just 14.3 ounces, it maintains excellent balance on modern rifles. The suppressor measures 6.55 inches in length with a 1.6-inch diameter.

Professional-Grade Performance

Furthermore, this Dead Air suppressor includes a 1/2×28 thread pitch Xeno 3-prong flash hider and installation tool for immediate deployment. The flash hider reduces visible signature while the suppressor handles the sound. Together, they create a complete hearing protection solution for tactical and hunting applications.

Moreover, the CT5P excels at hearing-safe hunting where noise reduction matters most. Range shooters benefit from reduced impulse noise and hearing fatigue. Home defense users gain tactical advantage with lower signature and faster target reacquisition.

Why Shooters Choose the CT5P

Therefore, the Dead Air CT5P delivers professional suppression in a lightweight, durable package. The Haynes 282 construction withstands high-round-count sessions and sustained fire. Consequently, this suppressor maintains zero shifts and acoustic consistency across extended shooting sessions.

Buying a suppressor now: a Form 4473 and a background check. No Form 4.

Since October 9, 2026, ATF no longer requires a Form 4, tax stamp, fingerprints, photos or registration to buy a suppressor. It transfers like any other firearm: you fill out a Form 4473, pass a NICS background check, and it is yours. No months-long wait.

  • Texas buyers: suppressors are legal under Texas law. Western Sport has been an SOT / Class III dealer since 2007.
  • Outside Texas: we ship to an SOT dealer in your state, who completes the 4473 with you. Your state’s law still decides — some states ban suppressors, and some only allow ones registered with ATF.
  • Want it registered anyway? ATF still accepts a voluntary Form 4. Ask us.
