Thermal Scopes

• What it is: A rifle-mounted thermal riflescope — a complete sighting system with its own reticle, not an attachment for an existing scope.
• Sensor: 384 and 640 resolutions. For most Texas hog shooting, inside 200 yards, a 384 with good NETD identifies cleanly for considerably less money than a 640.
• Check the recoil rating: A scope certified for .223 will not survive a magnum hunting rifle. This is the spec people skip and regret.
• Spend it here: NETD and base magnification, not maximum digital zoom.
• FFL status: A thermal scope is an optic, not a firearm and not an NFA item — no FFL transfer, no Form 4. Order online and it ships to your door.

Rifle-mounted thermal from AGM Global Vision, ATN, Nocpix and Pulsar.

What we carry

Dedicated thermal riflescopes in 384 and 640 sensor resolutions, models with onboard video recording and ballistic calculators, units with multiple colour palettes for different conditions, and quick-detach mounts sized for AR-pattern rifles. If you would rather keep your day scope, look at clip-on thermal instead.

Picking one for hog hunting

Most Texas hog shooting happens inside 200 yards, and a 384 sensor with good NETD will identify a hog cleanly at that distance for considerably less money than a 640. Spend the difference on NETD and base magnification rather than on maximum digital zoom. Check the recoil rating too — a scope certified for .223 will not survive a magnum hunting rifle.

Scope, or scope plus handheld?

A thermal scope is for taking the shot. Finding the animal is a different job, and doing it through a rifle optic means pointing a loaded gun at everything you look at. Most hunters who do this seriously end up with a scope on the rifle and a thermal monocular in the other hand.

Ordering

Thermal optics ship to your door, not to an FFL. Send us a message if you want help matching a scope to your rifle and your ground, and Credova financing is available at checkout.
