The RIX Tactical Storm S6R V2 thermal imaging scope delivers precision targeting for sporting and recreational use with advanced thermal technology and quick detach mounting.
The RIX Tactical Storm S6R V2 thermal imaging scope brings advanced thermal targeting to your rifle setup. This optic features a 35mm objective lens paired with 2.5x optical magnification and 1-4x digital zoom for versatile ranging and target acquisition. Additionally, multiple reticle options let you customize your aiming point for different shooting conditions and preferences.
Thermal imaging technology reveals heat signatures in complete darkness and poor visibility. Moreover, this capability makes the Storm S6R V2 ideal for sporting pursuits where lighting conditions vary dramatically. The matte finish black body minimizes glint and blends seamlessly into tactical and hunting setups.
Mount and Installation
The RIX Tactical Storm S6R V2 ships with a quick detach Picatinny mount for fast, tool-free removal and remounting. This mount style ensures repeatable zero and lets you swap the scope between compatible rifles in seconds. Furthermore, the quick detach design reduces setup time and improves flexibility on the range or in the field.
Optical Performance
The combination of 2.5x optical magnification and up to 4x digital zoom gives you a wide field of view at lower power and extended range capability at higher magnifications. First, the 35mm objective gathers abundant light for sharp thermal imaging. Then, the digital zoom extends your reach without sacrificing image clarity or thermal sensitivity.
Best Use Cases
The Storm S6R V2 excels in recreational shooting, hunting, and sporting competitions where thermal imaging provides a decisive advantage. Whether you’re shooting in low light, fog, or dust, thermal technology cuts through obscuring conditions that defeat conventional optics. Consequently, this scope opens new possibilities for year-round sporting use.
