Magnum Research BFR .500 S&W Revolver, 7.5″ Barrel, 5-Round

Product Description

The Magnum Research BFR .500 S&W Revolver is a stainless steel, single-action revolver with a 7.5″ barrel. It holds 5 rounds of .500 S&W and is built on a large frame.

This is a single action only revolver. You cock the hammer for each shot, which suits a deliberate style of shooting. The long barrel gives you a longer sight radius, and the sights are a fixed front with an adjustable rear, so you can set the point of impact for the load you shoot. Overall length is 15″, and the gun weighs 72 oz.

Who it suits

The BFR fits shooters who want a big-bore revolver for range work, handgun hunting, or simply owning a serious .500 S&W. Its size and weight put it on the heavy end of handguns, so plan on a steady grip and a stable stance.

Good gear to pair with it includes a sturdy holster or chest rig made for large-frame revolvers, a padded hard case for transport, and quality hearing and eye protection. Stock up on .500 S&W ammunition, and add a cleaning kit sized for the caliber. A shooting bench and a rest help when you sight in the adjustable rear sight.
