The Sarsilmaz Sar9 ST pistol is a striker-fired semi-automatic handgun from the Turkish manufacturer Sarsilmaz. This model delivers the fundamentals of a duty-capable sidearm: a consistent striker trigger, a profile suited to concealed carry or duty use, and the reputation Sarsilmaz has built over decades of military and law enforcement production.
The Sar9 ST fits shooters looking for a reliable 9mm platform without the price point of European or American duty pistols. It competes directly with polymer-frame striker guns from better-known brands, but brings the cost down while maintaining the core features most shooters actually use.
Key Facts

Action Type: Semi-Auto, Striker Fired
SKU: SAR9ST
How the Sar9 ST Compares to Other Striker-Fired 9mm Handguns
Striker-fired pistols dominate the duty and concealed carry market because they eliminate the heavy double-action trigger pull and the external hammer that can snag on clothing. The Sar9 ST uses the same operating principle as the Glock, M&P, and P320 families: a spring-loaded striker released by a trigger bar, delivering a short reset and consistent pull weight from the first shot to the last.
Where Sarsilmaz separates itself is value. Shooters who need a backup gun, a truck gun, or a first defensive handgun often find the name-brand striker guns priced higher than their budget allows. The Sar9 ST addresses that gap without compromising the core function.
The “ST” designation in the Sar9 line differentiates this variant from the standard Sar9 and the Sar9 X models. If you need exact specifications—barrel length, magazine capacity, sight configuration, or accessory rail dimensions—Send us a message to confirm before ordering.
What to Know Before Buying a Sarsilmaz Sar9 ST
Sarsilmaz has supplied pistols to Turkish military and police units for years, and the Sar9 series represents their entry into the civilian and export striker-gun market. Parts availability in the U.S. market is less extensive than for Glock or Smith & Wesson, so if you plan to customize heavily or need rapid parts replacement, factor that into your decision.
Holster availability is growing but still narrower than for the most common platforms. Many generic IWB and OWB holsters designed for similar-sized pistols will work, but verify fitment before purchasing a retention holster or duty rig.
The Sar9 ST is a serialized firearm and transfers through the standard FFL process. Out-of-state buyers must transfer to a licensed dealer in their home state.

Q: What is the Sarsilmaz Sar9 ST pistol?
A: The Sarsilmaz Sar9 ST pistol is a striker-fired semi-automatic handgun manufactured by Sarsilmaz. It is designed as a duty or defensive sidearm and uses a polymer frame with a striker mechanism similar to other modern service pistols.
Q: Is the Sar9 ST a good choice for concealed carry?
A: The Sar9 ST can serve as a concealed carry pistol depending on its dimensions and your carry method. Send us a message to confirm the exact size and weight so you can compare it to your holster setup and body type.

A: Both the Sar9 ST and Glock pistols use striker-fired actions with similar trigger-bar mechanisms, so the feel is broadly comparable—a consistent pull with a short reset and no external hammer.
