Product Description

Update, October 9, 2026: ATF no longer requires a Form 4, tax stamp, fingerprints or registration for suppressors, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns or AOWs. They now transfer on a standard Form 4473 with a background check. Anything below that mentions a Form 4, a wait or a tax stamp was written before this change. What changed

⚠ SUPPRESSOR — NO FORM 4 REQUIRED
Since October 9, 2026, ATF no longer requires a Form 4, tax stamp, fingerprints, photos or registration for suppressors. It transfers like any other firearm: a Form 4473 and a NICS background check. Buyer must be 21 or older and allowed to own a suppressor under their state’s law. Outside Texas, we ship to an SOT dealer in your state. What changed · How buying one works now

The PWS BDE 9mm TI is a titanium 9mm suppressor — the BDE series in 9mm Luger configuration, built with titanium for a lightweight suppressor experience on pistol-caliber platforms. 9mm is one of the most popular suppressed calibers available: subsonic 9mm ammunition (147gr and heavier) is inherently subsonic without any special loading required, making 9mm suppressed shooting dramatically quieter than supersonic rifle calibers. With a quality 9mm suppressor like the BDE 9mm TI, suppressed 9mm is genuinely hearing-safe without additional hearing protection in many conditions — the “Hollywood quiet” suppressor experience that draws many people to suppressor ownership is most achievable with subsonic 9mm.

At $599.95, the BDE 9mm TI is a high-value entry into titanium 9mm suppression. It works on pistol-caliber carbines (PCCs), AR-9 platforms, and threaded-barrel 9mm handguns with the appropriate thread pitch.

FAQ — PWS BDE 9mm TI

Do I need subsonic ammo for hearing-safe 9mm suppression?

For the quietest experience, yes — standard 9mm 115gr and 124gr loads are supersonic, producing a supersonic crack that the suppressor cannot eliminate. Subsonic 147gr+ 9mm ammunition travels below the speed of sound, so the suppressor reduces the total noise to a genuinely low level. Many suppressed 9mm users find 147gr subsonic loads to be genuinely hearing-safe.

Buying a suppressor now: a Form 4473 and a background check. No Form 4.

Since October 9, 2026, ATF no longer requires a Form 4, tax stamp, fingerprints, photos or registration to buy a suppressor. It transfers like any other firearm: you fill out a Form 4473, pass a NICS background check, and it is yours. No months-long wait.

  • Texas buyers: suppressors are legal under Texas law. Western Sport has been an SOT / Class III dealer since 2007.
  • Outside Texas: we ship to an SOT dealer in your state, who completes the 4473 with you. Your state’s law still decides — some states ban suppressors, and some only allow ones registered with ATF.
  • Want it registered anyway? ATF still accepts a voluntary Form 4. Ask us.
