On September 11th, 2001, a federal agent in New York City was caught in the dust cloud when the towers came down. People around him couldn’t see. Some felt trapped where they stood. You want a light bright enough to identify a threat and light up a room (a couple hundred lumens minimum), small enough that you’ll actually carry it daily, tough enough to survive drops and rain, and simple to run under stress.
