Product Description

The Hornady Custom Lite 12GA 2.75 FTX slug ammunition is engineered for shooters seeking lighter recoil without sacrificing stopping power. This 300-grain sabot slug performs exceptionally well in rifled shotgun barrels. The premium design makes it ideal for hunting, range training, and sport shooting applications.

Advanced FTX Slug Design

The FTX bullet features Hornady’s Flex Tip technology for improved ballistic coefficient. This innovation delivers flatter trajectories and superior accuracy. The sabot design ensures consistent performance through rifled barrels shot after shot.

Reduced Recoil, Full Performance

The Custom Lite designation means significantly less felt recoil for all skill levels. Additionally, you don’t sacrifice stopping power or effectiveness in the field. The 300-grain weight provides adequate energy transfer for deer-sized game. Furthermore, reduced recoil enables faster follow-up shots when needed.

Perfect for Shotgun Hunters

These slugs work exclusively in rifled shotgun barrels for maximum accuracy. The Custom Lite line suits both experienced and novice shooters equally well. They perform reliably up to 100 yards in most hunting situations. Finally, shooters can practice more comfortably at the range without fatigue.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will these slugs work in my smoothbore shotgun?

A: The Hornady Custom Lite performs reliably up to 75 yards on game. Many hunters use them effectively at 100 yards depending on their shotgun. Your specific barrel and shotgun will affect actual performance and accuracy.

Q: Can I have this ammunition shipped to my home in Texas?

A: Ammunition cannot ship via mail to residential addresses in Texas or nationwide. We ship via ground carriers only to valid addresses following all state regulations. Contact us for specific Texas delivery details and restrictions.

A: No, these Custom Lite slugs are designed for hunting, not clay sports. Clay target shooting requires shotgun loads with shot pellets instead. These slugs perform best on deer and similar-sized game.
