The KRISS Vector SBR Gen II delivers 9mm power in a compact 5.5″ platform. Purpose-built for hearing protection at the range and tactical home defense.
Update, October 9, 2026: ATF no longer requires a Form 4, tax stamp, fingerprints or registration for suppressors, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns or AOWs. They now transfer on a standard Form 4473 with a background check. Anything below that mentions a Form 4, a wait or a tax stamp was written before this change. What changed
The KRISS Vector SBR 9mm short barreled rifle is a modern, semi-automatic platform engineered for precision and control. This Gen II model features a threaded 5.5″ barrel built for suppressor compatibility. Additionally, it ships with backup front and rear sights plus a 40-round magazine for immediate use.
The compact design makes it ideal for hearing protection at the shooting range. Furthermore, the Vector SBR’s ergonomic controls and modular platform let shooters customize their setup. The Matte Black finish resists corrosion humidity and field conditions.
Compact Power for Home Defense
Home defenders choose the Vector SBR for its manageable recoil and quick-handling profile. The short barrel does not sacrifice ballistics in 9mm. Moreover, the included sights provide immediate confidence in your defensive platform.
This KRISS Vector SBR excels in tight spaces where full-length rifles prove cumbersome. The 40-round capacity reduces reload frequency during training. Therefore, shooters spend more time on marksmanship and less on ammunition management.
Precision Engineering & Features
KRISS USA builds the Vector SBR with tight tolerances and reliable components. The threaded barrel accepts standard suppressors for hearing-safe hunting and range sessions. Additionally, the semi-automatic action cycles cleanly without excessive gas blowback.
The KRISS-branded stock provides stable shouldering and repeatable shooting positions. Finally, the complete package arrives ready to shoot, train, or hunt.
