The Browning Citori 725 Feather is a 12 gauge over/under shotgun with a 28″ barrel. It is a break-action gun with two barrels stacked one above the other, so it holds 2 rounds and has a 3″ chamber.
This model is built for right-handed shooters. The fixed stock has a 14.25″ length of pull. Overall length is 45.75″, and the gun weighs 6.9 lbs. That is a manageable weight for a 28″ barrel when you carry it through a field or swing it on a clay target.
Finish, sights and chokes
The finish is polished blued in a BI-TONE treatment. A single ivory bead sits at the front as the sight, which keeps the sight picture simple. The choke selection covers Full, Improved Cylinder and Modified, so you can match the pattern to the target distance.
A break-action gun is easy to check. Open it, and you can see right away whether the chambers are empty. It suits shooters who like a classic two-barrel layout and a straightforward manual of arms.
Pair it with 12 gauge shells, a padded gun case, a shell pouch or bag, and good eye and ear protection. A cleaning kit sized for 12 gauge helps keep the barrels and action in order.
