Auto Ordnance Cold Dead Hand 1911 Engraved .45ACP Pistol, 5″ Barrel

Product Description

The Auto Ordnance Cold Dead Hand 1911 Engraved is a full-size .45ACP semi-auto pistol with a 5″ barrel. It holds 7 rounds and measures 8.60″ overall. The name tells you the main idea: this is an engraved pistol, built to look as good as it shoots.

The frame is stainless steel and the slide wears a Cerakote finish. That pairing gives the pistol a two-part look and a solid, full-size feel. At 39 oz, it has real heft, which many shooters like for taming .45ACP recoil. A fiber optic front sight gives you a bright point to find quickly, and a manual safety is on board.

Who it suits

This pistol fits collectors who want an engraved piece they can still take to the range. It also suits shooters who like a full-size .45ACP with a 5″ barrel and a traditional single-stack magazine. If you want a pistol that stands out in a safe or on a bench, the engraving does that.

For gear, start with a holster cut for a full-size 5″ pistol and a few extra 7-round magazines made for the platform. Add a sturdy range bag, quality .45ACP ammunition, and a cleaning kit with a bore brush and patches. A padded pistol case or display stand also helps protect the finish when the pistol is not in use.
