Henry Repeating Arms H12 Classic .44 Mag Lever-Action Rifle

Product Description

The Henry Repeating Arms H12 Classic is a lever-action rifle chambered in .44 Magnum, with a 20″ barrel and a 10-round capacity. It is also built for .44 Special. The finish is blued, and the stock is fixed.

The H12 Classic has a large loop lever. That makes it easier to work with a gloved hand, which matters on cold days in the field. The rifle uses a transfer bar safety, so the hammer cannot reach the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. The sights are a brass bead front and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear, so you can set the rifle up for your load without adding anything.

Size and handling

The rifle weighs 7 lbs and measures 37.50″ overall. Length of pull is 14″, and it is right-handed. That is a compact, easy-carrying package for brush hunting, truck-gun duty or a day at the range. The barrel has a 1:20″ twist.

This rifle suits hunters after deer or hogs at moderate distances, and anyone who likes the pace of a lever gun. Good gear to pair with it includes a sling for long walks, a padded soft case, a cleaning kit sized for .44 caliber, and a few boxes of .44 Magnum or .44 Special ammunition. A belt holster or ammo cuff is a handy extra if you want spare rounds close at hand.
