Auto Ordnance 1911 Northern Lights .45 ACP Pistol, 5″ Barrel, 7-Round

Product Description

The Auto Ordnance 1911 Northern Lights is a semi-auto .45 ACP pistol with a 5″ barrel and a 7-round capacity. It follows the classic single-stack 1911 layout and adds a few features that set it apart from a plain range gun.

The frame is stainless steel, and the slide carries a stainless finish. Night sights come on the pistol, so you get a visible sight picture when the light drops. That makes it a practical choice for a nightstand gun as well as a pistol for the range.

Who it suits

This pistol fits shooters who like the 1911 platform and the .45 ACP cartridge. The 5″ barrel gives a longer sight radius than a compact pistol. That helps with steady aim at the bench and on paper targets. Owners who want a stainless 1911 with night sights already fitted will find it a straightforward option.

Plan on a few accessories. A holster made for a 5″ 1911 is the first one to get. Spare 7-round magazines are useful for longer range sessions. You will also want .45 ACP ammunition for practice and defense, a cleaning kit, a sturdy range bag, and eye and ear protection.
