Mossberg Patriot .400 Legend Bolt-Action Rifle, 20″ Barrel, BLUE, 28262

Product Description

The Mossberg Patriot .400 Legend bolt-action rifle pairs a 20″ barrel with a blue Cerakote finish. It is a manually operated rifle, so you cycle each round by hand with the bolt. That keeps the design simple and easy to learn.

The rifle is chambered in .400 Legend and uses a 1:16″ twist rate. The magazine holds 4+1 rounds. The 20″ barrel keeps the rifle on the compact side, which helps when you are moving through brush or climbing into a stand.

Who it suits

This Patriot fits hunters who want a bolt-action in .400 Legend. It also suits shooters who like working a bolt at the range and want a rifle with a finish built for outdoor use. The blue Cerakote gives it a look that stands apart from a standard black rifle. Check your local hunting regulations before you choose a cartridge for a particular game animal.

Plan on adding a few things to complete the setup. A scope and matching mounts are the first stop, and you should confirm the mount fit for the optic you pick. A sling makes carrying easier on long walks. Add a padded case for transport, a cleaning kit for after the trip, and a supply of .400 Legend ammunition for sighting in and practice.
