Mossberg Patriot .350 Legend Bolt-Action Rifle, 22″ Barrel, Black

Product Description

The Mossberg Patriot .350 Legend Bolt-Action Rifle is a bolt-action rifle with a 22″ barrel, chambered in .350 Legend. It is a plain, working rifle in black, built around a manual bolt and a magazine that holds four rounds with one more in the chamber.

The barrel has a 1:16″ twist rate. That is a useful number to know when you start picking factory loads or planning a handload, because bullet weight and twist work together on target. Check what your chosen ammunition is designed for before you commit to a case.

Who it suits

A bolt action keeps things simple. You cycle it by hand, you know exactly what the rifle is doing, and there is little to learn before you get to the range. That makes the Patriot a sensible fit for a first deer rifle, a second rifle for a hunter who already owns a different caliber, or anyone who wants a no-fuss .350 Legend for practice and field use.

Plan on a few extras to finish the setup. A scope is the obvious one, along with matching bases and rings. A sling, a padded case, a bore cleaning kit and a few boxes of .350 Legend ammunition round things out. Ear and eye protection are worth adding if you are heading to the range.
