Mossberg Patriot Compact .350 Legend Bolt-Action Rifle, 18″ Barrel

Product Description

The Mossberg Patriot Compact is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .350 Legend with an 18″ barrel. It is a short-barreled bolt gun that is easy to carry and quick to handle in tight spaces.

The barrel has a 1:16″ twist. The magazine holds 4+1 rounds, which means four in the magazine and one in the chamber. The finish is Matte Blue and black, which keeps glare down in the field.

Sights and setup

This rifle has no sights. You will need to add a scope or other optic before it is ready for the range or the woods. Pick rings and bases that match the rifle, and check the fit before you mount anything.

The Patriot Compact suits hunters who want a bolt action in .350 Legend and shooters who like a shorter rifle. A bolt gun is simple to run and easy to learn on, so it is a fair fit for someone building their first hunting setup.

Good gear to pair with it includes a rifle scope, scope rings and bases, a sling, a bipod or shooting sticks, a padded case, and hearing protection. Add a few extra magazines if you plan to shoot a lot. Buy .350 Legend ammunition for the load you want to use, whether that is for practice or for the hunt.
