Thompson/center Encore Turkey Barrels, 6050R

Product Description

The Thompson/Center Encore Turkey barrel, part number 6050R, is a replacement barrel sold as a part, not a complete gun. It carries the product code 12/24MC, which is the headline identifier for this barrel.

The point of this barrel is the turkey setup. The Encore Turkey name tells you what it was built for. If you already own an Encore and want one frame to cover more than one kind of hunting, a dedicated turkey barrel is a simple way to do it. You change the barrel and keep the rest of the gun you already know.

Who it suits

This barrel suits Encore owners who hunt turkey and want a barrel matched to that job. It also fits a hunter building a second barrel setup around a frame that is already in the safe. Check that your frame is part of the Encore line before you order, since this barrel is made for that family.

Gear that pairs well with it includes turkey loads, a choke tube suited to your pattern testing, a sling, and a sight or red dot if you want to add one. A padded case helps protect the barrel in the truck or blind. Pattern the gun with your chosen load before opening day so you know where it shoots.
