Thompson/center Encore Pro Hunter Barrels, 8103R

Product Description

The Thompson/center Encore Pro Hunter barrel, part number 8103R, is a 308 barrel built for the Encore Pro Hunter. It is a barrel only. It is sold as a part, so you add it to a platform you already own.

The main point here is the caliber. This barrel is made in 308, which is a common choice for deer and similar game. If you already hunt with an Encore Pro Hunter in another chambering, this part gives you a way to run a 308 on the same platform.

Who it suits

This barrel suits Encore Pro Hunter owners who want a 308 option. It also fits a hunter who is building out a single-shot setup and likes the idea of one platform with more than one barrel. Check the part number, 8103R, against what you need before you order.

Gear that pairs with it is the usual hunting kit. A scope and mounts sized for your setup come first. After that, think about a sling, a cleaning kit for the bore, and 308 ammunition to sight in and practice with. Because the barrel is a separate part, it makes sense to set up the optic and confirm your zero once it is installed.
