The Riton Optics 3 Tactix EED is a reflex sight with a 3 MOA red dot. It does not magnify, so you look through it with both eyes open and place the dot on the target. That makes it a straightforward choice for close and mid-range work.
The dot has 10 levels of red illumination. You can turn it down for dim light or up for a bright background. The optic is multi-coated, and the finish is matte black.
Two plates for mounting
This sight comes with two plates, one for MOS and one for RMSc. That gives you a way to match the optic to the cut on your slide or mount. Check which pattern your firearm uses before you order, and use the plate that matches it.
It suits shooters who want a red dot without a lot of extra features. A 3 MOA dot is a common size for people who want a clear aiming point that still lets them see the target. Good gear to pair with it includes a pistol or slide milled for MOS or RMSc, a holster made to clear an optic, and a set of back-up iron sights that can sit with it. A drop of thread-locker and a torque driver are useful for mounting any optic.
