Product Description
The Cobratec Knives OTF Utility is a double action automatic out-the-front knife with a 1-inch black utility blade. Open, it measures 5.12 inches overall. Closed, it measures 3.37 inches, so it is short enough to carry without much bulk.
This one is built around a utility blade, not a point-first tactical profile. The edge is plain, and the blade is replaceable, so a dull edge does not mean the end of the knife. The handle is 6061-T6 aluminum in black, and the whole knife weighs 3.2 oz. A Kinetic Locking System holds the blade in place once it is out. It is part of the CTK series, and the model number is CTOTFUTBLK.
Who it suits
The OTF Utility fits someone who wants a small automatic for daily chores. Think opening shipping boxes, cutting tape and cord, trimming packaging, and light shop or garage work. The short blade keeps the job simple. It is not meant for heavy cutting or hard prying.
It pairs well with other everyday carry gear. A belt pouch or pocket organizer keeps it from rattling around with your keys. A small flashlight and a compact multitool round out a basic carry kit. Automatic knives are regulated differently from place to place, so check your local rules before you carry one.
