Browning X-Bolt 2 Hell’s Canyon Long Range Bolt-Action Rifle, 036036229

Product Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hell’s Canyon Long Range is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .300 Win Mag, built around a 26″ fluted, free-floating barrel. The twist rate is 1:8″. Overall length is 46.75″.

The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 and carries a Recoil Hawg brake. The rifle is also suppressor ready, so you can run a brake or a suppressor depending on the day. The trigger is Browning’s DLX adjustable, and the safety is a tang-mounted type. Ammunition feeds from a detachable box magazine that holds 5+1 rounds.

Stock and finish

The stock is a McMillan Game Scout composite. The metalwork wears a Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish. The rifle has no iron sights. It is drilled and tapped and set up for a Picatinny base with 20 MOA, so a scope is the intended way to aim it.

This rifle suits hunters who take long shots at big game and shooters who want a .300 Win Mag for steel at distance. Good partners include a quality long-range scope, a bipod, a rangefinder, and a suppressor that fits the 5/8×24 threads. A good rest and a rear bag help too, since a magnum cartridge rewards a steady setup.
