The Browning X-Bolt 2 Pro SPR is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm PRC with a 20″ fluted, free-floating barrel. Overall length is 40.75″, so it handles easily in a blind, a truck, or on a stalk.
The stock is lightweight carbon fiber in black. The barrel carries a 1:8″ twist and a muzzle brake threaded 5/8×24. The barrel is threaded and the rifle is listed as suppressor ready, so a compatible suppressor can go on later if you want one. The bolt has a short 60 degree lift, which gives you more room for your hand under a scope. The trigger is adjustable, and the safety is a tang-mounted type.
Who it suits
This rifle fits hunters who want 7mm PRC in a short, trim package. It also suits shooters building a long-range setup. Ammunition is fed from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 3+1 rounds. The rifle has no sights, so plan on an optic. It is drilled and tapped for scope bases.
Good gear to pair with it includes a quality riflescope, matching bases and rings, a bipod, and a padded sling. A hard case or soft rifle case protects it in transit. Extra rotary magazines are handy for range days. Pick a 7mm PRC load that suits your game or target distance, and use a cleaning kit sized for the bore.
