The Christensen Arms MPR BA is a 6.5 PRC bolt-action rifle with a 24″ carbon fiber wrapped barrel. The barrel has a 1:9″ twist. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 and comes with an adjustable stainless steel brake. Capacity is 5+1 rounds from a detachable box magazine.
Chassis and fit
The rifle sits in a 7075 billet aluminum chassis with V-block bedding and a black anodized finish. The stock folds on a locking hinge, which cuts down the length for carrying and storage. Overall length is 45″ and length of pull is 14.5″. An adjustable carbon fiber cheek riser helps you line up behind the optic. The trigger is a match grade adjustable unit, so you can set it to your own preference.
This rifle has no sights. It does have a Picatinny base with 20 MOA of built-in slope, so you can mount a scope and still have elevation in reserve for longer shots. The action is also drilled and tapped.
It suits shooters working at distance: precision rifle matches, steel targets, and long-range hunting. For gear, start with a good scope and rings. The M-LOK rail takes a bipod or other M-LOK accessories, and a rear bag steadies the buttstock on the bench or in the field.
