The Christensen Arms MPR is a .308 Win bolt-action rifle with a 24″ carbon fiber wrapped barrel. It is built for precision work at distance. The rifle comes in a Desert Brown anodized finish and feeds from a detachable box magazine that holds 5+1 rounds.
The chassis is 7075 billet aluminum, and the barrel sits in V-Block bedding. The stock folds on a locking hinge, so the rifle is easier to carry and store, and the overall length is 46″. Length of pull is 14.5″. An adjustable carbon fiber cheek riser lets you set the stock to fit your eye line behind a scope. The trigger is a match grade adjustable unit, and the safety has two positions.
Built for optics and a muzzle device
This rifle has no sights, so you will need an optic. It has a Picatinny base with 20 MOA of built-in slope, which helps when you dial for long shots. The receiver is drilled and tapped. The barrel is threaded 5/8×24 and comes with an adjustable stainless steel brake. The 1:10″ twist rate suits the .308 Win cartridge.
The MPR fits shooters who run precision matches, practice at long range, or hunt open country and want a rifle with a fold-down stock. Good gear to pair with it includes a quality scope and rings, a bipod, a rear bag, spare magazines and a padded case. The M-LOK rail gives you a place to mount a bipod or other accessories.
