Winchester Repeating Arms 70 Extreme Weather Bolt-Action Rifle, 535242230

Product Description

The Winchester Repeating Arms 70 Extreme Weather is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm Rem Mag with a 26″ fluted barrel. The barrel has a 1:9.5″ twist. The magazine holds 3+1 rounds and uses a hinged floorplate. Overall length is 46.75″.

What sets it apart

The finish is matte stainless steel, and the stock is a Bell and Carlson synthetic. An aluminum bedding block sits under the action. The bolt is jeweled, and the trigger is the MOA system. A 3 position safety lets you cycle the bolt with the rifle on safe.

The barrel carries a muzzle brake and is also threaded. The receiver is drilled and tapped. The rifle has no sights, so you will need to add an optic before you head to the range or the field.

This rifle suits hunters who want a magnum chambering for long shots at big game. It also fits anyone who wants a stainless, synthetic-stocked bolt gun for wet and cold days afield.

For gear, start with a scope, rings and bases. A sling and a bipod are useful for carrying the rifle and steadying shots. Add a hard case for travel, a good supply of 7mm Rem Mag ammunition, and hearing protection. The muzzle brake makes the report louder at the shooter’s position.
