Winchester Repeating Arms 70 Super Grade Maple Bolt-Action Rifle, 535218212

Product Description

The Winchester Repeating Arms 70 Super Grade Maple is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .243 Win, built around a 22″ hammer-forged barrel. The barrel is free floating and finished with a target crown at the muzzle. Twist rate is 1:10″.

What sets this rifle apart is the dressing. The stock is high gloss AAA maple with a shadowline cheek piece. The bolt body is jeweled and the bolt handle is knurled. The metal is polished blue. It looks like a rifle meant to be carried and shown off, not just tossed in a truck.

Features at the bench and in the field

The action feeds from a hinged floorplate magazine that holds 5+1 rounds. The trigger is the MOA system, and the safety has 3 positions. Overall length is 42.75″. The rifle comes with no sights, but it is drilled and tapped, so it is ready for scope bases.

This rifle suits hunters after deer and similar game, and shooters who like a light-recoiling cartridge on the range. It also fits anyone who wants a nice-looking bolt gun for the safe. Pair it with a quality scope, matching bases and rings, a padded sling, and a hard or soft rifle case. Stock up on .243 Win ammunition and try a few loads to see what the rifle likes best.
