Christensen Arms Mesa Long Range .300 PRC Bolt-Action Rifle, 801-02017-00

Product Description

The Christensen Arms Mesa Long Range is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .300 PRC, built around a 26″ barrel with a 1:8″ twist. The barrel is button rifled and free floating, and it has a match chamber. It is a rifle made for shooting at distance.

The stock is carbon fiber composite in green with tan webbing, and the metalwork wears a Burnt Bronze Cerakote finish. Length of pull is 13.5″ and overall length is 48″. The action has an enlarged ejection port, and the safety is a 2 position design. Rounds feed from a hinged floorplate magazine that holds 3+1.

Trigger, muzzle and mounting

A TriggerTech trigger adjusts from 2.5 to 3.5 lb. The barrel is threaded with a 5/8×24 pitch and carries a stainless seamless side baffle brake. The rifle is drilled and tapped, and it has no sights, so you will need to add an optic.

This rifle suits long-range target shooters and hunters who want a magnum-class cartridge in a bolt gun. Pair it with a quality scope, matching rings and bases, and a bipod or rear bag for a steady rest. A good sling and a padded case help for carrying it into the field. Because the muzzle is threaded, you can also fit a compatible muzzle device if you choose.
