Product Description

The Cimarron 1866 Yellowboy Trapper is a lever-action rifle chambered in .44-40 Win with a 16″ round barrel. It is made by Uberti in Italy. The brass finish gives it the look that the Yellowboy name is known for.

The short barrel is what sets the Trapper apart. With a 36.21″ overall length, it is a compact lever gun that is easy to carry and quick to bring up. It holds 10+1 rounds, and the action is worked with the lever in the traditional way. An external hammer controls the firing system, so you cock it by hand.

Sights and stock

The sights are a dovetail blade and an adjustable ladder. The ladder lets you set the rear sight for the distance you are shooting. The stock is walnut with a straight grip, which keeps the rifle slim and classic in the hands.

This rifle suits cowboy-style shooters, collectors of period-style lever guns, and anyone who wants a short .44-40 Win rifle for the range. Pair it with quality .44-40 Win ammunition, a padded rifle case, a sling or carry strap, a cleaning kit, and good eye and ear protection.
