Browning X-Bolt 2 Western Hunter Long Range 6.5 PRC Bolt-Action Rifle, 036105294

Product Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Western Hunter Long Range is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC with a 24″ barrel. It is built for hunters who take longer shots at game in open terrain, and it has the features to match.

The barrel is free floating and has a 1:8″ twist. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 and comes with a thread protector, so the rifle is suppressor ready. Browning also lists a muzzle brake in the 5/8×24 thread size. The action uses an extended bolt handle, and the trigger is adjustable. Overall length is 44″, and the finish is matte blue.

Stock and feeding

The Vari-Tech stock has an adjustable comb in OVIX camo. You can raise or lower the comb to fit your cheek to the optic. Ammunition feeds from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 3+1 rounds, and one magazine is included. The safety is a tang safety.

This rifle has no sights, so plan on an optic. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases. A good long-range scope, a matching set of mounts and rings, and a bipod are the usual first additions. If you hunt with a suppressor, the 5/8×24 threads take any suppressor or muzzle device with the same thread. Add quality 6.5 PRC hunting ammunition and you have a complete setup.
