The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed Long Range is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm Rem Mag, built around a 26″ fluted, free-floating barrel with a 1:7″ twist. It holds 3+1 rounds and feeds from a detachable rotary magazine. Overall length is 46.75″.
The stock is where this rifle gets its fit. The Vari-Tech stock comes with 2 grip modules, and the length of pull, comb height and grip angle all adjust. That lets you set the rifle up for your frame and your shooting position. The trigger is a multi-lever DLX adjustable unit, and the bolt handle is extended for easy cycling. The safety sits on the tang. The finish is Smoked Bronze Cerakote.
Muzzle and optics
The barrel has a target crown and a muzzle brake. It is also threaded and suppressor ready, so you can run a suppressor if that fits your plans. The rifle ships with no sights. It is drilled and tapped, so you mount a scope on bases of your choice.
This rifle suits hunters who take longer shots at big game and shooters who like to work at distance on the range. For gear, start with a quality scope, matching rings and bases, and a bipod. A sling, a padded rifle case and a good supply of 7mm Rem Mag ammunition round out the kit. If you plan to use a suppressor, pick one that matches the barrel’s threading.
