The Browning XB2 Speed is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC, built around a 24″ fluted, free-floating barrel with a 1:7″ twist. The finish is Smoked Bronze Cerakote, and overall length is 44″.
The stock is a Vari-Tech design with 2 grip modules. Length of pull, comb height and grip angle all adjust, so you can set the rifle up for your frame and your shooting position. The trigger is a multi-lever DLX adjustable unit, and the safety sits on the tang. Feeding comes from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 3+1 rounds.
Barrel and Muzzle
The barrel has a target crown and a muzzle brake, and it is threaded. That gives you a path to a different muzzle device if your setup calls for one. The action runs smoothly, which helps when you are working the bolt from a rest or a prone position.
This rifle has no sights, but it is drilled and tapped. Plan on adding a scope, plus rings and bases that match your optic. A bipod and a rear bag suit long-range work. A sling is useful for carrying it in the field. It suits hunters and target shooters who want a 6.5 PRC with fit adjustments built in.
