The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .300 PRC, with a 26″ barrel. It holds 3 rounds and is cycled by hand through the bolt, so each shot is a deliberate one.
The .300 PRC cartridge is a good fit for hunters and shooters who work at longer distances. The 26″ barrel is a full-length option for that kind of work. A three-round capacity is plenty for the field, where the first shot matters most and follow-ups are rare.
Who it suits
This rifle fits someone who wants a straightforward bolt gun in a big-bore-class chambering. It makes sense for big-game hunters, long-range hobbyists, and anyone building a dedicated .300 PRC setup. Bolt actions are simple to run and easy to learn, which helps if this is your first rifle in a magnum chambering.
Plan your gear around the rifle. A quality scope with matching rings and bases is the first thing most rifles like this need. A sling, a bipod or shooting sticks, and a padded case are all useful. Stock up on .300 PRC ammunition for load testing and practice before you head out. A basic cleaning kit rounds out the setup.
