The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm Rem Mag with a 26″ fluted, free-floating barrel. The twist rate is 1:9.5″. It holds 3+1 rounds and feeds from a detachable rotary magazine. One magazine is included. Overall length is 46.75″.
This model is built around fast handling. The bolt has a short-throw 60-degree lift, so cycling a follow-up shot takes less motion. The trigger is adjustable, and the tang safety sits where your thumb falls naturally. The barrel and action wear an OD Green Cerakote finish, and the Vari-Tech stock matches in OD Green.
Threaded for a brake or suppressor
The muzzle carries a brake on 5/8×24 threads, and a thread protector is included for when the brake is off. The rifle is listed as suppressor ready, so you can add a can that fits those threads. Check the mounting details on any suppressor before you buy it.
The rifle has no sights. It is drilled and tapped, so you can mount a scope with bases made for it. A 7mm Rem Mag suits long-range work, so pair it with a quality variable-power optic, a bipod or shooting sticks, and a sling for the walk in. A rangefinder and a sturdy rifle case round out the kit. This rifle fits elk, mule deer and similar game hunters who shoot at distance.
