The Volquartsen Firearms Summit SL is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 WMR, built around a 16.75″ stainless bull barrel. The barrel is threaded and rifled with a 1:16″ twist. The finish is black, and the safety is a cross bolt design.
This rifle has no sights. That is a plain fact worth planning around, because you will need to add an optic before you can shoot it. Pick a scope you like, then confirm the rings and bases match the receiver before you order them.
Who it suits
The .22 WMR cartridge covers more ground than standard .22 LR, which makes this rifle a fit for small game, varmints, and longer rimfire target sessions. The bull barrel suits shooters who like a steady rifle off a bench or a rest. Capacity is 9+1, so you can run a magazine without constant reloading.
For gear, start with a good scope and mounting hardware. A bipod, shooting rest, or sandbags will help you get the most from the barrel. Since the barrel is threaded, you can add a compatible muzzle device or suppressor. Check the thread specification with the manufacturer before you buy any attachment. Stock up on .22 WMR ammo, and add a padded case for transport.
