The Volquartsen Firearms Summit is a .22 LR bolt-action rifle with a 16.5″ Tenshion THM carbon fiber barrel. It runs as a straight-pull, so you work the bolt in one motion back and forward. Overall length is 36.5″, and the finish is black.
The muzzle is threaded 1/2×28 and the rifle is suppressor ready, so you can add a can or a muzzle device without any extra work on the barrel. The chamber is match grade. Feeding comes from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 10+1 rounds. A cross bolt safety sits on the rifle.
Set up for an optic
The Summit has no sights. It has an integral Picatinny optic mount at 0 MOA, so the first thing you will add is a scope or red dot. Pick rings or a one-piece mount that fit a Picatinny rail and you are set. The stock is a black Magpul X-22 Hunter.
This rifle suits rimfire shooters who like a bolt gun for small game, steel targets, or practice at the range. It also fits anyone building a quiet .22 setup around a suppressor. Good gear to pair with it includes a rimfire scope, a suppressor with a 1/2×28 mount, extra rotary magazines, a sling, and a bipod for bench or prone work.
