The Browning Silver Field is a 12 gauge semi-auto shotgun with a 28″ vent rib barrel. It runs on a gas piston system, which Browning calls the Active Valve Gas System. The chamber takes 3.5″ shells, and the tubular magazine holds 3+1 rounds.
The stock wears Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Habitat camo, and the metal finish is Flat Dark Earth. The bolt has a nickel Teflon finish, and the trigger is gold plated. The stock and grip have textured surfaces, so the gun stays put in wet or gloved hands. Overall length is 49″. Sights are a simple brass bead on the vent rib.
