The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR HD is a .308 Win bolt-action rifle with an 18″ barrel. The barrel is fluted and free floating, with a 1:10″ twist. The overall length is 38″, which makes it a short rifle to carry and to handle in tight spots.
The stock is a gray and bronze camo design that comes with two grip modules. Length of pull, comb height and grip angle are all adjustable, so you can set the rifle up for your frame and your shooting position. The trigger is a multi-lever DLX adjustable unit. The safety is a tang safety. The metal wears a Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish.
Muzzle, magazine and optics
The muzzle has a target crown and a muzzle brake, and the barrel is threaded. The rifle feeds from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 4+1 rounds. It has no sights, but the receiver is drilled and tapped, so you mount your own optic.
This rifle suits hunters who want a compact .308 and shooters who like to tune a rifle to fit. A scope with matching rings and bases is the first thing to add. A sling, a bipod and a spare magazine are also common pairings. Choose a rest or bag that works with the fluted barrel for range sessions.
