Taurus USA Raging Hunter .454 Casull Revolver, 8.375″ Barrel, 5-Round

Product Description

The Taurus USA Raging Hunter is a double-action .454 Casull revolver with an 8.375″ ported barrel. It holds 5 rounds and has an external hammer, so you can choose how you want to fire it. The finish is matte black.

The long barrel and the 55 oz weight set this revolver up for steady shooting with a heavy cartridge. Overall length is 14.1″. The grips are rubber with a cushioned insert, which gives your hand a softer contact point when you shoot. The sights are fixed / adjustable.

Who it suits

This revolver fits hunters who want a big-bore handgun in the field. It also suits range shooters who like a long sight radius and a full-size revolver. Because it is chambered in .454 Casull, plan on buying ammunition made for that cartridge and checking that your local range allows it.

Good gear to pair with it includes a sturdy holster cut for a long-barrel revolver, a shooting rest or bag for sighting in, and quality eye and ear protection. A hunter may also want a chest or belt rig that carries the weight comfortably. A cleaning kit with a bore brush sized for the caliber helps keep it in working order.
