The Kimber America 1911 Desert Warrior Lightweight Boot Campaign Pistol is a Government-frame semi-auto chambered in 9mm Luger with a 20+1 capacity. It has a 5″ barrel and an aluminum frame, and it weighs 28 oz. Overall length is 8.7″.
This pistol feeds from a double stack magazine, and two magazines come with it. The slide has a black KimPro finish with engraving, plus serrations at the front and rear. The grips are carbon fiber infused, and the trigger is Kimber’s two-hole match grade type. Like a traditional 1911, it uses an external hammer and has a manual safety. The sights are night sights, fixed.
Optics ready and tied to a cause
The slide has an optic cut for the RMR footprint, so a compatible red dot can mount directly. This is a Boot Campaign model, and proceeds support wounded vets.
It suits 1911 fans who want a 9mm with a bigger magazine and a modern optic option. It also fits buyers who like the Boot Campaign tie-in. For gear, look at a red dot that uses the RMR footprint, a holster made for an optics-ready Government-size 1911, spare magazines, and a range bag with 9mm ammunition.
