Howa USA Carbon Stalker 2 .30-06 Sprg Bolt-Action Rifle, 22″ Barrel

Product Description

The Howa USA Carbon Stalker 2 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Sprg with a 22″ cold hammer forged barrel. The barrel has a 1:10″ twist. It is a straightforward big-game rifle built around a carbon fiber wrapped stock and a Tungsten Cerakote finish.

The muzzle is threaded 1/2×28, so the rifle is suppressor ready. If you don’t run a suppressor, the threads are there for a muzzle device or a thread protector. Howa backs the rifle with a Sub-MOA Guarantee. The action uses a large integral bolt handle that is easy to find and grip, even with gloves on. Trigger is the HACT. The safety has 3 positions.

Who it suits

This rifle fits deer, elk and other big-game hunters who want a classic cartridge in a practical, ready-to-field package. Capacity is 4+1 rounds from a hinged floorplate magazine. Length of pull is 13.37″ and overall length is 41.5″, which makes for a manageable rifle in a blind, a truck or the field.

The rifle has no sights, but it is drilled and tapped for optics. Plan on a scope and mounts. A sling, a bipod and a good case round out a basic hunting setup. If you want to run a suppressor, pick one that mounts to a 1/2×28 thread.
