Weatherby Vanguard S2 Sporter 7mm PRC Bolt-Action Rifle, 24″ Barrel

Product Description

Weatherby Vanguard S2 Sporter is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm PRC with a 24″ barrel. The barrel is a #2 contour, cold hammer-forged, with a 1:8″ twist. The finish is matte blue, and overall length is 44.5″.

What sets it apart

The muzzle is threaded 1/2×28, and the rifle is listed as suppressor ready. The trigger is an adjustable two-stage. The bolt body is fluted, and the safety has three positions. The magazine uses a hinged floorplate and holds 3+1 rounds. Weatherby backs the rifle with its SUB-MOA Guarantee.

The stock is checkered walnut with a Monte Carlo profile and a 13.5″ length of pull. It is a traditional look on a modern long-range cartridge. This rifle suits hunters who want a classic wood stock and shooters who plan to work at distance with a bolt gun.

The rifle has no sights, so you will need an optic. It is drilled and tapped for scope bases, so pick a base and rings made for this action. A sling and a bipod are common additions for field use. The 1/2×28 threads take a suppressor or a thread protector, and you will need 7mm PRC ammunition to go with it.
