Kimber America Custom II .45 ACP Pistol, 5″ Barrel, 7+1-Round

Product Description

Kimber America Custom II is a .45 ACP pistol with a 5″ barrel and a 7+1-round single stack magazine. It is a single-action pistol with an external hammer, a manual safety, and a Government-size steel frame.

What sets it apart

The black slide has serrations at the front and the rear, so you can work it from either end. The frame has an extended beavertail and a checkered rear strap, and the grips are black synthetic. The trigger is skeletonized. Sights are white dot, with a white 2-dot setup, which gives you a simple sight picture. Overall length is 8.7″, the twist rate is 1:16″, and the pistol weighs 38 oz. One magazine is included.

This pistol suits shooters who like a single-action trigger and a manual safety on a full-size steel gun. It works for range sessions, target practice, and general .45 ACP shooting. The steel frame adds weight, which many people prefer in a .45.

Plan on a few extras to go with it. A holster cut for a Government-size frame with a 5″ barrel is the first one. Spare single stack magazines, a box of .45 ACP ammunition, a cleaning kit, eye and ear protection, and a padded pistol case round out a good range setup.
