Product Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Target Competition is a .270 Win bolt-action rifle with a 22″ free-floating, hand-chambered barrel. The barrel has a 1:10″ twist. Overall length is 42.75″. The finish and stock are a two-tone black and gray.

This rifle has a short-throw bolt with a 60-degree lift. That gives your hand more room between the bolt handle and the scope. The trigger is adjustable, so you can set it to suit your own preference. The safety is a tang safety.

Built for mounting your own optic

The rifle has no sights. It is drilled and tapped, so you choose the scope, bases and rings that fit your shooting. The barrel is threaded M13x.75 and the muzzle has a muzzle brake in that thread size. The Vari-Tech stock is finished in black and gray. Ammunition feeds from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 4+1 rounds.

The X-Bolt 2 Target Competition fits shooters who work from a bench, a bipod or a field rest. It also suits hunters who want a .270 Win with a threaded muzzle. Plan on a quality scope, mounts, a sling, a bipod, extra magazines and hearing protection. Pick a good rest or shooting bag if you shoot groups at the range.
