The Diamondback Firearms DB15 Obsi is a semi-auto AR-style rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16″ barrel. It runs a direct impingement system with a carbine-length gas system, and it holds 30+1 rounds when loaded with a polymer AR-style magazine.
The barrel is 4150 chrome moly with a 1:8″ twist, and it is threaded at the muzzle, which carries an Obsidian muzzle device. The finish is OD Green Cerakote. Overall length is 33″. The rifle has a forward assist, a dust cover and a manual safety.
Set up for your own optic
This rifle has no sights. An integral Picatinny optic mount at 0 MOA runs along the top, so you can mount a red dot or a scope right away. If you prefer iron sights, you can add a set of flip-up sights to the same rail. The handguard uses an M-LOK rail for lights, grips and other accessories.
A MagPul CTR stock and a MagPul MOE K2 grip come on the rifle. That makes it a good fit for a range rifle, a home-defense build or a base for a project you plan to change over time.
Common add-ons include a sling, spare AR-style magazines, an optic, a weapon light and a cleaning kit. Because the barrel is threaded, a muzzle device or suppressor mount can be fitted too, as long as it matches the thread.
