The Diamondback Firearms DB10 is a semi-auto rifle chambered in 8.6 Blackout with a 12″ barrel. It is a direct impingement AR-style rifle with a pistol-length gas system, a forward assist and a dust cover. Overall length is 28.5″, so it stays compact for a rifle in this class.
The barrel is 4150 chrome moly with a black nitride finish and a 1:3″ twist. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×28 and ships with a thread protector. Diamondback lists the rifle as suppressor ready, so a can or other 5/8×28 muzzle device can go straight on. The receivers have a black anodized hard coat.
Controls, rail and optic mount
The rifle has a standard mil-spec trigger and a Magpul MOE K2 grip and stock. The handguard uses M-LOK, and the top of the receiver has an integral Picatinny rail with 0 MOA. It has no sights, so you need to mount an optic before you head to the range. It feeds from a 20+1 round Gen 3 PMAG.
This rifle suits shooters who want a short 8.6 Blackout platform for suppressed shooting, range time or a project build. Good pairings include a red dot or low-power variable optic, a suppressor rated for this caliber, extra AR-style magazines, a sling, and M-LOK lights, grips or bipods. Check that any suppressor you choose is rated for 8.6 Blackout.
