Traditions Frontier 1873 Liberty .45 Colt Revolver, 4.75″ Barrel

Product Description

The Traditions Frontier 1873 Liberty is a single-action revolver chambered in .45 Colt, with a 4.75″ barrel. It holds 6 rounds and is built on a steel frame with a blue finish. The hammer sits on the outside, so you cock it by hand before each shot.

What sets it apart

This model carries full coverage laser engraving, so the decoration runs across the gun instead of stopping at a single panel. The grips are white PVC, which gives the blued steel a strong contrast. Sights are a fixed blade, so there is nothing to adjust and nothing to knock out of position. At 37 oz, it has some heft, and that weight helps tame the push of a .45 Colt load.

This revolver suits shooters who like the look and manual of operation of a classic single-action. It works for range days, casual plinking, and cowboy-style shooting. It also fits collectors and anyone who wants an engraved revolver that is meant to be fired, not just displayed.

For gear, start with a holster sized for a 4.75″ barrel revolver, plus a belt and cartridge loops or a pouch for spare ammunition. Add .45 Colt ammunition, eye and ear protection, and a cleaning kit with a bore brush and rod. A padded case protects the engraving and blue finish in transport.
