Cimarron El Malo 2 .357 Mag Revolver, 4.75″ Barrel, 6-Round

Product Description

The Cimarron El Malo 2 is a single-action .357 Mag revolver with a 4.75″ octagon barrel. It holds 6 rounds and uses an external hammer, so you cock it by hand before each shot. It is built on a steel frame and made by Pietta in Italy.

The El Malo 2 has a low, wide hammer that is easy to reach with your thumb. The frame has a case colored finish, and the grip is a one-piece checkered walnut Army style. The sights are a fixed blade, so there is nothing to adjust. The barrel has a 1:18.75″ twist rate. At 40 oz, it has some heft to it.

Who it suits

This revolver suits shooters who like the look and feel of a traditional western single action. It works for cowboy action matches, casual range sessions and collectors who want a .357 Mag in a classic layout. Single-action handling is slower by design, which many people enjoy for deliberate shooting.

Good gear to pair with it includes a leather holster and cartridge belt cut for a single-action revolver. You will also want .357 Mag ammunition, a cleaning kit sized for the caliber, and eye and ear protection for the range. A padded case helps when you carry it to and from the club.
